How to Have a Beautiful Skin

How to Have a Beautiful Skin Your skin is the largest organ of your body, just like your heart or your kidney. Its job is to protect your insides so it is important for it to be healthy. If you eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water, keep it clean, and protect it from the sun, your skin will stay healthy all your life.

A skin care program is the combination of skin care products and a routine that will be most beneficial to the skin. You will first need to consider your diet and type of life-style since these two factors play an important role in the health of a person's skin.

Diet - Eat Well
What you put into your body has a huge effect on how the outside looks and feels. Eating healthy foods is important. Remember to feed and nourish your skin by eating the proper foods. Give your skin a drink too. Eight glasses of are essential to maintaining your skin's elasticity and suppleness, say experts. The water you choose can be sparkling water, mineral or straight from the tap. You still can't beat the old fruit and vegetable diet when it comes to good health and a good complexion.

Hygiene - Keep your skin clean.
You need to give some thought and consideration to the type of makeup you use. And be sure to clean your tools regularly. Things such as cosmetic brushes get dirty and can carry bacteria and germs and may cause skin irritations and breaking out. A good way is to soak brushes for about 10 minutes in a dish of warm, soapy water using mild liquid detergent or baby shampoo. Rinse and blot excess moisture with a towel and stand the brushes, handle end down, in a tall glass until they are thoroughly dry.

Keep environmental pollutants from being absorbed into the skin with a good moisturizer that also acts as a skin barrier. Check the labels for those with added Vitamin A, C and E, which help block the penetration of pollutants.

Exercise - keep fit
A good exercise program such as aerobics can activate and rejuvenate the skin and improve circulation and blood flow. Also, body sweat triggers production of sebum, which is the skin's own
natural moisturizer.

Sleep - get an adequate amount of quality sleep
Be sure to get enough sleep. An adequate amount of quality sleep can help recharge and rejuvenate the body, making it more resilient. Lack of sleep can lead to tired lifeless skin and circles under the eyes. To avoid morning eye or facial puffiness, sleep on your back so fluid doesn't collect there. And, you can keep the oil from your hair away from your face by wearing a head covering or a soft headband when you go to bed.

De-Stress - Relax Get serious about stress reduction. Skin conditions such as acne appear on many people who are stressed out, and chronic skin conditions then to get worse. Set aside quiet time to meditate or daydream. Breathing exercises are excellent for reducing stress. And keep in mind that too much stress can affect your overall health as well as your complexion.

Beauty Care - 7 Beauty Tips

Beauty Care - 7 Beauty Tips Beauty care is one of the problems that most women (and men) of all ages face. Beauty, or the lack of it, is pretty much a state of mind. . .well almost. There are beauty tips for Hair Styles, Nails, Skin Care, Body and Shape, Weight Loss, Exercise, Fashion and Style, Inner Beauty and more. Let's talk about inner beauty care. True beauty begins from the inside out. Outer beauty will only appear when you’ve practiced beauty within. Knowing how and what to eat, can make a huge difference in how you feel. Improper eating habits can cause depression, overweight, illness and an overall lethargy.

Change your eating and exercising habits. You can do this. Do not try to change everything at once, unless you are just one of those rare individuals that can do that. Beauty care starts with our diet. Diet does not mean just losing weight. Diet means the food you put in your daily eating habits.

1) A rule of thumb for eating habits are...don't eat more calories than you consume. Don't go one single day without doing something extra and physical for at least 30 minutes per day. This can be three ten minute walks. Or 30 minutes of vigorous aerobics, or 12 minutes of weight lifting and 18 minutes of walking.

2) Water, you need water. Try to add at least 4 more glasses of water to your daily diet. The rule of thumb for water is 8 glasses per day; and one extra for every ten pounds overweight you are.

3) Fats, you need to know about fats. There are different kinds of fats. Some fats are better for you than others. A rule of thumb on fats is, stay away from hydrogenated fats. These are fats that solidify. They are in store bought cakes, cookies, crackers, chips and even in bran muffins.

Read the labels.

Choose fats that are polyunsaturated or fats such as olive oil. And, eat some fish to get some omega-3 fats. Carbohydrates - Are your immediate fuel source. An average is about 55 percent of your diet in carbohydrates. So, a rule of thumb is, figure your protein grams, get around 25% fat per day, and the rest would be in carbohydrates.
The heavier you are, the more protein you need the less carbohydrates you will need. Fats - try not to exceed more than 25 percent fat in your daily diet. 30 is fine, too. That does not mean you can't have a junk food fast food hamburger... it just means that if you do eat that 55 percent fat burger that you are going to have to cut down on other fat filled foods for the rest of the day to balance it out.

4) Fiber - work up to getting 25 grams of Fiber per day

5) Protein - averages about 20 percent. Divide weight by 2.2 and multiply that by .8 to get the kilograms. For men it is averages as one gram per each kilogram of weight. So, a man would divide their weight in pounds 2.2 then multiply that by .10

6) Make exchanges gradually. Suppose you drink whole milk...work down to 2 percent. Maybe replacing two of your cups per day until you can completely change over. If you are on two percent milk, work down to 1 percent.

7) Add bran to your cereals for extra fiber. Do add it in your baking. You need to balance your diet with vegetables and fruits, too. Try adding different colors to your plate. Maybe an orange yam, and some green beans, to add color. The more variety of food colors, bring more variety of vitamins. Eat more raw foods.

Remember, exchange things, add things, and do it gradually and remember, live all things in life in moderation and soon you will be bouncy and vibrant and well on your way to living BEAUTIFULLY!

step by step make up techniques and tricks

1. FOUNDATION

  • Test foundation color on your face - chin area, not on hand. It will be too dark.
  • Choose the correct foundation for your skin type i.e.; oily, dry, combination.
  • Apply primarily across the nose, cheeks, chin, lips (helps lipstick stay) and forehead. Just enough to even out redness or discoloring at center of face. *Lightening the center of face makes you look younger!
  • Many makeup salespeople will suggest using it all over the face and chin. Dont be fooled, its a great sales trick - The more you use the more you buy.
  • Apply with fingertips or sponge.

2. CONCEALER

Most Important Beauty Item!

  • Blend concealer under eye and close to bridge of nose.
  • Add a little extra to blemishes and dark spots.
  • Apply after foundation, so you dont rub off.
  • Apply with ring finger. Body warmth softens creme, blends nicely.

3. BLUSH

Powder Blush offers you the option of contour and color all in one step.

  • Use large powder brush to apply (Small brushes grab too much color).
  • Work along cheek bone and hair line along forehead. This will frame your face with color. Keeping the center of face light.
  • If skin has a red undertone, use a warmer tone blush to counteract the redness.

4. EYES HAVE IT.

  • Layer JRC powder eye shadows for the softest effect. Each layer will blend to the next and stay on all day.

Light

  • Choose a light JRC eye colorto apply all over lid; lash to brow. This will lighten brow area and reduce discoloration on lid for a truer second color.

JRC Light Eye Colors:

  • Lavender Mist
  • Vanilla
  • Soft Beige
  • White Frost
  • Nude
  • Satin

Medium

5. A medium eye color is applied above the crease on lid. Apply with eye open, above iris; back and forth. Using a shadow brush. (Sponge tips grab too much color).

JRC Medium Eye Colors:

  • Tawny
  • Mocha
  • Putty
  • Blue Grey
  • Granite
  • Antique Rose
  • Sheer Moss

6. EYE PENCIL

  • Blend a complementary eye pencil color along lash. Apply outside in for easier application.
  • Eye shape should determine how much to apply.
  • A thin line for a more natural look.
  • A wider or darker line for a deeper or smokey eye.
  • Use medium size JRC shadow brush.

7. DARK SHADOW

  • Apply outside in with eye open and blend to pencil with medium size JRC shadow brush.
  • For a smokey eye blend along lash to soften eye pencil using small angular JRC brush.
  • Always fill in outside corner of eye with angular shadow brush.
  • Add just a little under lash with angular brush.
  • Blend with large shadow brush from light color to blend and soften.

JRC Dark Eye Colors

  • Grape
  • Smoke
  • Topaz
  • Coffee
  • Bronze
  • Khaki
  • Black

8. MASCARA

  • Thicken and lengthen lashes with mascara.
  • I suggest black mascara for most colorings.

9. EYEBROWS

  • Try a #2 or #3 soft lead yellow pencil. Yes! From office supply. A softer look for grey or dark hair.
  • JRC Taupe eyebrow pencil or Light Brown Eyeshadow workswonders for blonde eyebrows.

10. LIPS

  • Trends come and go, but its always great to find that one favorite lip color.
  • Apply Lip pencil in a complementary color to your lip color. Not too dark.
  • Apply outside in for mature lips. I find it is easier to apply. We lose moisture in our system as we age which reduces the size of the lips. Lip pencil a necessity over 40!
  • Apply lip color over pencil.
  • Experiment with this method. Some lip colors I use, I prefer applying lip pencil after lipstick.
  • Use gloss as needed at center of lips.
  • If you have trouble with lipstick going into creases --eliminate gloss.
  • A very light frost applied to the middle of the lower lip will create fullness.

Eye Creams Reviewed: How Well Do They Work?

One of the first places many people notice changes in their appearance is in the skin around the eyes. This is due to the fact that the skin in this area is extremely thin and delicate making it especially vulnerable to damage. Many of the changes to the skin in this area can be attributed to genetics and aging. As we get older our bodies produce less collagen decreasing the skin’s suppleness; additionally, elastin fibers loose their elasticity decreasing the skin’s ability to regain its form. Other factors contributing to the changes in the skin around the eye are environmental and include stress, sun exposure, as well as exposure to pollutants and other toxins. The damage sustained by the skin around the eyes can manifest itself as fine lines and wrinkles, also know as crow’s feet, as well as dark circles and puffiness. It is extremely important that we use preventative measures in protecting this vulnerable part of our faces, but for those of us who have not been historically diligent in this area we should use products for skin protection, as well as products specifically formulated to address our concerns.

Which eye cream products should you consider for your eyes?
Most experts agree that incorporating a premium quality eye cream is a vital part of any skin care regimen. According to Dennis Gross, M.D., clinician at New York University Medical Center, renowned dermatologist, and author of “Your Future Face”, “a high quality eye cream should be one of the necessary topicals in any anti-aging protocol.” Many eye cream products today are specifically formulated to be multi-taskers meaning they address the top concerns of consumers (fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, etc.) in one formulation. Previously, consumers could be easily confused with the multitude of eye cream products available - each with its own treatment niche. This archaic approach of treating each skin issue with a separate product was extremely costly as well as a proving to be a time consuming proposition relative to one’s skin care routine. Fortunately today with advances in chemistry and formulation methods skin care manufacturers have the ability to produce high quality eye creams containing multiple ingredients that address the array of consumer concerns within one individual eye treatment.

Due to wide spectrum of topical eye cream treatments currently sold in department stores, in drugstores and on the Internet we here at Consumer Health Digest scrutinized the most currently marketed eye treatments and distilled the most current scientific research in order to assess which eye cream treatments were most effective. As the eyes are one of the most precious part of the body, one should not feel shy in spending a little more amount for this type of product. It's important to note, when applying an eye cream, only a small amount is necessary. About the size of a pea is more than enough for each eye. Always use your ring finger and apply with light patting motions inside the orbital bone (that’s the bone you feel surrounding your eye socket). Do not put it on eyelids or over-apply as irritation may occur. See below for the results of our evaluation.

Moist Your Eyes

Tips to Help and Prevent Dry Eyes

Do your eyes feel dry, rough, or irritated? Does it feel like you have sand in your eyes? Do they itch? Mine do. I wear contacts and once in a while my eyes will get real dry and irritated. Try these tips to help alleviate dry eyes and make your eyes feel better. Some of these tips help me.

Quick Fixes - Minor Irritation

The first line of treatment for dry eyes is over-the-counter demulcent drops, also known as artificial tears. These will help “moist your eyes” (I couldn’t resist). Here is a list of common eye lubricants that can ease minor dry eye symptoms:

Eye Drop for Dry Eyes

  1. Systane Lubricant Eye Drops
  2. Genteal eye drops
  3. Bion Tears
  4. Thera Tears
  5. Similasan - Dry Eye Relief

Prescription Strength:

If over-the-counter remedies don’t work for you; consult your Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. They may prescribe the following prescription remedy:

  1. Restasis - Allergan, approved by the FDA

Special Cases - Allergies, Contact Lenses

There are many things that can cause dry eyes, such as allergies or contact lenses. Try these products if you have allergies or use contact lenses:

  1. Alaway - Antihistamine Allergy Eye Drops - Bausch & Lomb
  2. Zaditor - Antihistamine Allergy Eye Drops - Novartis
  3. Similasan - Allergy Eye Relief eye drops
  4. Refresh Contacts - rewetting solution for contacts
  5. Clerz Plus - rewetting solution for contacts
  6. Opti-Free RepleniSH - I use this one for my contacts

If you wear contact lenses and you consistently have dry eye problems you may want to consider changing the type of contacts you use. I’ve read that Acuvue Oasis and Proclear Compatibles get top rated reviews for dry eyes by wearers.

If All Else Fails:

You may want to consider punctal plugs. Basically the eye doctor will plug the openings in your eyes that drains tears into the tear ducts. This is usually used for moderate or severe dry eye symptoms when other medical treatment does not work. You can try this solution by using temporary plugs first.

Long Term Prevention:

It should go without saying but many people are guilty of not doing it; eat a well balanced diet and get regular exercise. It is the best way to give your body all the nutrients it needs to stay healthy.

  1. Eat a well balanced diet
  2. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables! Carrots are loaded with beta carotene which is essential for maintaining healthy eyes
  3. Get plenty of sleep (your eyes need resting too)
  4. Drink lots of water
  5. If you smoke, STOP!
  6. Eat fish, flax seed oil or fish oil supplements
  7. Get enough Vitamin E, Zinc, Antioxidants, or use Eye Vitamins
  8. If you stare at a computer screen regularly, take breaks and remember to blink often. Go ahead take a break right now. You deserve it!

To Prevent and Treat Acne

Where Acne Comes From

Acne crops up when your skin produces excessive amounts of oil, also known as sebum. When sebum builds up, it can clog your pores and trap bacteria inside, which can lead to inflammation.

Though it can happen almost anywhere on your skin, acne is most common on the face, back, chest and shoulders. It can appear as red pustules, which many people refer to as pimples, and also as whiteheads and blackheads. Whiteheads are pores and hair follicles clogged close with dead skin cells, bacteria and other fun stuff. Blackheads are almost the same thing, except they aren't closed and they have a darker color due to the skin's pigment being exposed to the air.

What Causes Breakouts?

The sources of acne breakouts can vary from person to person, and there are a lot of factors that contribute to oily buildup and clogged pores. Here are a few of those factors:
  1. Stress: Stress reduces your body's ability to fight infections and ward off bacteria, which may contribute to breakouts.
  2. Pressure: Tight clothes, humidity and touching your skin repeatedly can trap oil next to the skin rather than letting it evaporate.
  3. Hormonal changes: This is a biggie, especially for girls. When hormone levels fluctuate, so do sebum levels.
  4. Man-made dyes and oils: The chemicals in your sunscreen or makeup may clog your pores or inflame your skin. Look for skin products that are "dermatologist recommended" and "non-comedogenic."

Acne Treatment

What's the best acne treatment? Start simple: Run-of-the-mill breakouts usually respond well to over-the-counter products such as benzoyl beroxide creams and lotions, which can be found at your local pharmacy or drugstore. Some people find astringents helpful at removing excess oil, though they should be used in moderation so the skin doesn't get too dry or irritated.

Washing your face with a mild cleanser twice a day, along with an exfoliating scrub a few days a week, may also help get rid of acne.

What If Over-The-Counter Acne Treatments Aren't Working?

If you have a lot of acne and it's painful and inflamed, your doctor may suggest one or more of the following prescription medications as an acne treatment:
  1. Oral antibiotics: These are pills you take to kill the bacteria trapped in your pores. They typically start to work in a few weeks and prevent breakouts.
  2. Birth control pills: If you're a girl and hormones are a culprit in your breakouts, birth control pills may help clear up your skin.
  3. Isotretinoin (Accutane): This medication is intended to treat severe cystic acne and requires blood tests to check liver and kidney function.
  4. Corticosteroid injection: If you have a particularly ginormous zit, your doctor may inject it with an anti-inflammatory substance known as a corticosteroid.

What Else Can I Do To Prevent and Treat Acne?

Alternative health practitioners often recommend that teens and others who struggle with acne assess whether they're getting enough vitamins and minerals in their diet. Increasing your levels of vitamin A and/or zinc may help zits heal more quickly.

According to the alternative health team at Community Pharmacy in Madison, Wisc., it may be helpful to take 25,000 IU per day of vitamin A during the nastiest phase of a breakout, then reduce the dose to 10,000 IU per day as the acne starts to clear up. Zinc may also be added to the diet through supplements, though no more than 50 mg of it should be taken in a day.

The Natural Way To Get Rid Of Your Acne

Of all of the difficulties that we have to deal with on a day-to-day basis, acne can be one of the more frustrating. Yes, there are some diseases that we can certainly have which are much worse than problem skin but the simple fact is, very few of us have to deal with those but almost all of us have to deal with skin problems. That is why there is such a push for a natural cure for these problems and there certainly are a lot of that are available out there. Something that many people don't realize, however, is that acne is not a disease itself. It is merely a symptom that there is something wrong within the body that needs to be corrected.Whenever we are born, we come out perfectly balanced, both inside and out. As we live our lives, however, that balance begins to disappear and there are a lot of different things that can occur which can cause a variety of problems for us. For example, we all have a pH balance within our body that needs to be maintained in the alkaline state. Whenever we allow this to go to the acidic, a lot of different problems can occur for us which include diseases and, of course, acne. A simple way of recognizing this is that many people will break out after they eat an acidic vegetable or fruit, such as a tomato. The toxins that we take into our body also are stored within our body because it is unable to cleanse them all. Although our body is wonderfully made and it certainly can take care of a lot of these toxins for us, we tend to take too much in on a daily basis for it to process. Many of these toxins are stored in our body, either in the liver or in the colon. Since this is the case, it is necessary for you to cleanse these two organs and flush the toxins out of your body. If you do this, you are going to notice a difference in your skin almost immediately.Although there certainly are a lot of different cleanses that you can do, you should always build up to them because they can be rather harsh on the body. Eat red beets on a daily basis and switch to a more raw food diet for a few weeks before attempting one of these cleanses. Stick with it, it works in almost every instance.

Is Lack of Sleep Causing Your Acne?

There are a lot of different theories as to why we have problems with our skin, such as those experienced whenever we have acne. The fact of the matter is, doctors and scientists are unaware of what causes acne problems and they do little more than guess at what is at the root of it. Many of them feel that it is hormonal and this certainly is a possibility, considering the fact that many of us get it during our teenage years and acne is also common during pregnancy. Genetics may also play a part but this is not always the case.In order to really be able to cure the problems with acne that we are experiencing, we need to get to the root of the problem and solve it from there. Medical science is not going to give you the answers that you need in order for you to be able to effectively do this but natural medicine may have some answers that doctors are lacking. Many naturalists feel that acne is not actually a disease that we are experiencing but it is a symptom that shows up as a result of our body being out of balance. If this is the case, bringing our body back into balance is one way for us to cure the problem. All of us are aware of the fact that we eat the wrong foods and we tend to drink the wrong drinks. It is a simple thing for us to change this and to get into the habit of eating properly on a regular basis in order to overcome these problems. What many of us don't realize is the fact that we are deprived of sleep and rest on a regular basis and this may actually be adding to our acne problem and making it more severe. In order to truly bring your body back into balance and deal with your acne problem directly, it may be necessary for you to get a little bit more sleep at night. Going around sleep deprived may not only be hurting your skin, it may actually be affecting your performance at work and at home as well. Take a little bit of time for yourself to relax and make sure that you are getting plenty of sleep every night. Your skin and your life will benefit as a result.

3 Things You Should Do Every Day When You Have Acne

All of us that have to deal with acne on a regular basis are probably looking for natural ways in order to handle the situation. The simple fact of the matter is, we did not come in to the point where we have acne overnight and we cannot expect for it to disappear overnight either. A buildup of toxins in our body is often at the very core of our acne problem and in order to cure the problem totally, we're going to need to remove some of these toxins from our body. Even without getting too radical with our treatment, there are three specific things that you should make sure you're doing on a daily basis in order to effectively deal with your problem.First of all, you should make sure that you are getting plenty of rest. This is something that a lot of us have a difficult time doing, either because we have a problem sleeping at night or because our lives are so busy that rest is just not an option. If you really want to deal with your acne problem and face it head on, you need to make time to rest and not make any excuses. Most of us need seven to eight hours of sleep every night and we need to take time for ourselves in order to relax or else we are never going to be able to get rid of our skin problems. The next thing that you should be doing is to eat a balanced diet. This is something that is very difficult for many of us to do, particularly considering the fact that we have a lifestyle that is not conducive to eating well. If you want to get rid of the problem skin that you are dealing with, however, you need to skip the fast food and sugary snacks and eat some raw fruits and vegetables instead. Try it for a week, you would be surprised with how much you begin to enjoy a daily salad or a bowl of fruit. Finally, you need to make sure that you are getting plenty of water to drink. Acne is often a result of dehydration so make sure that you are drinking plenty of pure water on a daily basis and skip the sodas and sports drinks. Do this for a week, your skin will be noticeably clearer.

Instant Results or Permanent Results for Natural Acne Treatment?

We live in a society that has taught us that instant results are something that we should expect. Unfortunately, this has caused a lot of problems for us and eating things such as fast food and sugary snacks has brought us to the point where we have problems with our skin. Commercial advertising for acne related products also gives us the impression that we are able to treat our problem skin and do see immediate results that will last forever. Is this really something that is feasible?Actually, in order to take care of of a problem that we are experiencing naturally it is often necessary for us to work on it for quite some time. The reason why this is the case is because many of the problems that we have come as a direct result of toxins that are built up inside of our body. These toxins were built up over time and it may be many years worth of these poisons that our body is trying to get rid of. We cannot expect for those to disappear overnight, it is simply going to take some time before we are able to see results. That isn't to say that we are unable to see any results at all from of our efforts to cleanse our acne naturally. For example, much of the acne that we experience is a direct result of us being dehydrated. If we were to drink half of our body weight in ounces of water every day and take some natural sea salt to allow the water to do its work, we would begin to see results within just a few days after beginning this regimen. The same is also true of many internal cleanses. Although it may not totally get rid of the acne immediately, we will start to see results right away that will keep us encouraged to continue going.Unfortunately, there are a lot of natural cures that are on the market which simply do not work. That is why it is important for you to try something that is going to get rid of your acne once and for all, even if it takes some time to do so. Just make sure that you are consistent within your efforts with whatever natural cure you are using to get rid of your acne and you should be happy with the overall progress.

Cleansing Your Body with Raw Food to Cure Acne

A lot of people that have to deal with acne realize that many of the problems that they experience with their skin are directly related to anything that they eat. Eating things that are too acidic or that contain too much sugar can actually cause us to break out even worse than normal. Along with that, it is also necessary for us to cleanse our body in certain ways in order to get rid of the acne altogether. I'm not talking about washing our skin, something that many of us do religiously in an attempt to clear up the problem, I'm talking about cleansing ourselves internally.Actually, eating properly and cleansing our body go hand-in-hand, more than you might realize. When most of us think about internal cleanses, we consider fasting and other harsh methods that are difficult to stick to but generally have great results. Actually, if you are able to eat raw fruit and vegetables on a daily basis, you're going to be cleansing your body just the same as if you are fasting. Although the results will not be as dramatic, getting back to the basics in the way that we eat and making sure that we are getting plenty of raw food in our diet is going to go a long way in helping us with our skin. One of the reasons why it is preferable to cleanse with raw food than with a more radical method is because we are going to detox more slowly. If we have a problem with acne, that is a sign that we have toxins built up on the inside of our body. The last thing that we would want to do is to release those toxins to quickly through an internal cleanse. By eating raw foods, we will be cleansing our body but we will be doing so more slowly. This will allow us to get rid of the toxins without having the negative side effects of cleansing which includes additional problems with our skin.Of course, after you are able to cleanse yourself with raw foods for some time you may want to also consider doing one of the other cleanses that are available. It is important for you to build your way up to it, however, and to make sure that your body is ready before you do anything that may be considered harsh.

Don't Forget to Clean Your inside to Cure Acne

When most of us attack the problem of acne, we tend to do so on the surface. There are dozens of different cleaners that we can pick up at the drugstore and at least as many natural cures that we can try that are topical. What many of us forget is that acne actually starts from the inside and works its way out. As a matter of fact, some people feel that acne is simply a sign that something has gone wrong in the body and that we are out of balance. It isn't really necessary to treat the acne itself if we are able to get rid of what is causing in the first place. That is why it is important to make sure that you're cleaning yourself on the inside as well as on the outside. There are several different ways that you can do this but one of the best is for you to do some kind of an internal cleanse. It is commonly thought that acne comes about as a result of toxins that are stored up in either the liver or the colon. These toxins are released in our body and eventually come out through our pores, causing the acne that we experience. That is why it is important for you to consider doing a colon cleanse and a liver cleanse in order to overcome this problem. If you plan on doing any kind of an internal cleanse, make sure that you do one that is not going to be overly harsh. This is especially the case whenever you're dealing with organs that may already be damaged because of toxins that are trapped inside of them. You also certainly don't want to do a harsh colon cleanse as this will make it difficult for you to live your day-to-day life for obvious reasons. There are plenty of gentle colon cleanse products on the market that are both natural and will take care of the problem effectively. The same is true whenever you are doing the liver cleanse. There are several different cleanses that are available out there for the liver so make sure that you choose one which is going to detox you slowly. If you detox too quickly, you will simply end up with poor complexion which will make it difficult or for you to be encouraged enough to stay on the cleanse until it does its job.

Almost all of us that have to deal with acne and other skin problems know by now that medical science is not going to give us the answers that we need to truly get rid of these difficulties. Unfortunately, most of what these doctors do is to treat these symptoms of the problem, the acne that we are experiencing, instead of getting rid of what is at the core of the problem itself. Eating a proper diet, getting plenty of exercise and making sure that we stay hydrated on a regular basis are all ways of dealing with the problem. What many of us skip, however, is the fact that we may need additional rest in order to get over the acne problem for good.It is thought that most of us need anywhere from seven to nine hours of sleep every night in order to be truly rested. Unfortunately, many of us don't feel that we are able to get this amount of sleep on a daily basis. This may actually be doing more to hurt our problem skin than we realize. A lack of sleep is going to cause a lot of changes in our body and these changes may show up in the form of acne if we are predisposed to showing that condition. That is why it is necessary for us either to get additional sleep on a daily basis or to make the sleep that we are getting better through proper supplementation. It is also necessary for us to get adequate rest on a daily basis. This rest does not necessarily have anything to do with our sleeping pattern but it is, rather, a period of time that we can spend to ourselves in order to reflect or just to get away from the stresses of day-to-day life. Most people don't realize exactly how much of a role stress plays in our problem skin. Ask anybody that has scalp acne and they will be quick to tell you that stress will make that condition much worse. The same is often true of rosacea.Getting plenty of sleep on a regular basis and taking a little bit of time to yourself in order to unwind is going to do a lot for your problem skin. Make sure that you get in the habit of doing these things for yourself and you would be surprised with how much of a difference it will make.
